    The Division of Dance invites nominations and applications for the position of associate/full professor and chair. This position is an opportunity to be involved in the on-going shaping of innovative, dynamic curriculum and performance practice. Strong leadership skills and teaching experience are essential.  We welcome candidates from all backgrounds. Extraordinary candidates at the associate/full professor levels will be considered.

    Minimum qualifications: Terminal degree or significant professional accomplishment in the field; minimum of 3 years administrative experience; expertise to teach courses in one or more areas of the Dance curriculum; and demonstrated creative/scholarly achievement

    Preferred qualifications: Experience that includes: a strong record of administrative leadership at the level of chair or higher; curriculum development; performance and production management; integrating engaged pedagogies and new technologies into curriculum; strategic planning; recruitment; and fund raising.  

    Position begins July 1, 2018.
