Academy of Dance on Film Founded in 1999 by Larry Billman, the ADF is the only U.S. arts organization dedicated to the preservation, documentation, and advancement of filmed dance. Information on its goals and services is given on a page of the Web site of the American Choreography Awards.
AIRDanza Italian Dance Research Association (Associazione Italiana per la Ricerca
sulla Danza AIRDanza) seeks to promote, coordinate and support dance studies
and to identify and preserve Italian documentary heritage, promote and
coordinating cataloguing projects, and work towards the establishment
of a national public dance archive, virtual, paper and audiovisual. The
site is in Italian and sometimes English.
American Dance Guild The ADG is a nonprofit membership organization
concerned with promoting the art of dance. Since 1956 it has been serving
the needs of performers, choreographers, teachers, and students through
all stages of their development and careers. This Web site is intended
to extend the guild's services to its members and to the dance community
worldwide.
American Dance Therapy Association <p>
Founded in 1966, the American Dance Therapy Association works to establish and maintain high standards of professional education and competence in the field of dance/movement therapy. ADTA stimulates communication among dance/movement therapists and members of allied professions through publication of the ADTA Newsletter, the American Journal of Dance Therapy, monographs, bibliographies, and conference proceedings.

Cross-Cultural Dance Resources Cross Cultural Dance Resources, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, founded in 1981 and incorporated in the State of Arizona. The organization dedicated to research about dance and supports many varied endeavors.
Dance Collection Danse Founded by Lawrence and Miriam Adams, former dancers, in Toronto, Ontario, the DCD is devoted to theatrical dance in Canada. The DCD functions as both an archive and a distributor of materials on Canadian theatrical dance.
Dance Critics Association The Dance Critics Association was created in 1973, when a group of dance critics attending a Philadelphia arts conference saw a need for an organization that represented working dance critics. The group's primary focus is an annual meeting to serve dance writers.
Dance Educators of America Established in 1932, DEA is an organization for dance professionals dedicated to improving the quality of dance teaching and to maintaining high professional and ethical standards in the performing arts.
Dance Films Association DFA is a nonprofit membership organization that acts as an information clearinghouse and meeting ground for users, producers, and distributors of dance films and videotapes.
Dance Heritage Coalition The DHC is a national alliance of institutions holding significant collections of materials documenting the history of dance. Its mission is to preserve, make accessible, enhance and augment the materials that document the artistic accomplishments in dance of the past, present, and future.
Dance Notation Bureau The Dance Notation Bureau's (DNB) mission is to advance the art of dance through the use of a system of notation. DNB creates dance scores using the symbol system known as Labanotation. This allows the dances to continue to be performed long after the lifetime of the artist.
Dance/USA Dance/USA was founded in 1982 following the release of a report by the Task Force for a National Dance Organization which called for the establishment of a national service organizaton for professional dance.
